Patented Technology Our patented Free-Space Slab Technology is the foundation of our lasers. All power levels have incorporated air-cooling so there is no need for peripheral equipment, such as water chillers, to remove heat. Our 10-watt can be configured with water cooling.
Power and Performance
To accommodate a broad range of applications, lasers are available in power levels of 10-watt, 25 to 60-watt (in 5-watt increments) and 70 to 120-watt (in 10-watt increments). All lasers are RF-excited and can be operated from CW to their maximum modulation frequency.
Design and Construction
Metal construction, precision machining and the highest quality components are fundamental to the design of our lasers. To further enhance its operation, the laser is kinematically mounted on a baseplate to accommodate thermal expansion and external mechanical loads.
Simplified Integration
Each laser can be mechanically mounted in virtually any orientation. The laser is equipped with control logic that accepts a TTL signal, a stand-by tickle circuit and a built-in interlock for use in process integrated equipment. A single "quick release" plug is provided to make electrical connection easy.
Universal provides assistance with the evaluation and selection of suppliers of beam delivery components, scan heads and marking software to further assist with integration.
Options
A variety of options are available, including: visible pointing laser that is co-axial with the main beam, integrated turning mirror, and a reinforced front optical mounting plate.
