The PLS6MW is a Multi-Wavelength Laser Platform™ designed for processing of both organic and inorganic materials. The PLS6MW is engineered to accept three different wavelength laser sources (1.06 µm - Fiber), (10.6 µm - CO2) and (9.3 µm - CO2). Based on our patented Rapid Reconfiguration™ technology all three laser sources and optics are interchangeable without tools.
The PLS6MW Multi-Wavelength Laser Platform uses multiple laser wavelengths to process the broadest possible spectrum of materials.
Materials: Most metals, some plastics. When configured with a 1.06 micron pre-aligned interchangeable fiber laser, the PLS6MW can mark most metals and some plastics.
Materials: Plastics, textiles, wood and some metals. Reconfigure the PLS6MW with a standard 10.6 micron pre-aligned interchangeable CO2 laser to open up the full breadth of organic material processing capabilities.
Materials: Some plastics. Reconfigure the PLS6MW with a specialized 9.3 micron pre-aligned interchangeable CO2 laser for excellent results on certain highly-functional plastics.
Entry level power for light surface engraving operations and cutting thin materials.
Low to medium power level for moderate-speed cutting and engraving and high-speed, low power engraving. Not recommended for thick cutting operations.
Medium power level for deeper high-speed engraving and thick cutting operations at average speeds.
Medium to high power level that is ideal for high-output engraving and cutting operations.
High power for heavy cutting and deep, high-throughput engraving. Systems equipped with dual lasers give you the option of turning one laser off for precision engraving of softer materials.
Laser power above 75 Watts requires two laser sources and dual laser configuration.
