Laser processing has long been a three-step process: open a file in third-party software, print the file to the laser software, and then process the file. Direct Import simplifies this process by removes the middle step, allowing users to import files in PDF or DXF format directly into the laser system software for processing. For users who process multiple files per day, the time saved by eliminating the middle step can be considerable.

Because third-party software is no longer needed to open and print files, users can reduce their software costs. And files imported through Direct Import produce crisper, higher quality results in many cases than files processed by printing from third party software.
