AlumaMark^® is a laser markable, clear coated metal that is specifically designed to darken when processed with a 10.6 or 9.3 micron CO₂ laser. AlumaMark^® is manufactured with silver, gold, bronze, brass or colored backgrounds. Laser marking of AlumaMark^® with a CO₂ laser selectively darkens the coating through a thermal reaction. This allows for high resolution and contrast images to be cleanly marked on metal substrates with a CO₂ laser.
