Brick

Brick Overview

Brick is a composite material comprised of mostly clay with additives such as sand, lime and iron oxide. Laser engraving brick is done using a 10.6 micron CO2 laser. The energy of the laser beam converts the clay component of the brick to glass. The result of laser engraving brick is a permanent dark mark that is recessed with respect to the brick surface.
